Lottie Rae x Design 10

For Central West artist Lottie Rae, her creative space once meant washing paintbrushes in a dirty dog bowl under a garden tap.

“When Design 10 found out,” Lottie laughs, “they were like, sis, we’ve gotta help you out!” 

And so began a collaboration that transformed her day-today life. Over several months, Lottie worked closely with Jo, Selections Manager at the Dubbo showroom, to design a studio that would nurture her creativity and keep up with her vibrant energy. 

“I had never renovated before,” Lottie admits. “I had no idea what I was doing, and the Design 10 team really brought my ideas to life!” 

The process wasn’t just about choosing tiles or paint colours - it was about understanding how she worked, what inspired her, and how her environment could support her art. 

Jo guided her through materials, trends, and brands, weaving them together into a space that feels both functional and uniquely hers. 

The result? A beautiful, purpose-built creative haven where Lottie can dream, paint, and make a mess - without a dog bowl in sight.
